China's Measures for Security Assessment of Outward Data Transfer went into effect on 1 September, offering clarity to organisations operating in and outside of China. Ahead of the measures entering into force, the Cyberspace Administration of China published assessment guidelines for these entities to follow regarding conducting security assessments.
