IAB Europe releases GDPR DPIA guide for advertisers

IAB Europe issued guidelines for the advertising technology industry on how to perform data protection impact assessments under the GDPR. With its guidance, IAB aims to "provide an accepted, widely adopted, standard for evaluating and managing risks associated with personal data processing in the industry." The guidance includes details on the purpose DPIAs, when they are required, logistics for performing them, and tips for risk assessment and mitigation practices.
