NHS Digital data opt-out scheme in England delayed

The new national data opt-out deadline has been extended by six months due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The NHS Digital and NHS X scheme had been planned to come into effect on the 31st March 2020, but this date has now been extended to the 30th September 2020. Further commentary reported in The Guardian.
