Global Privacy Control set up to help consumers exercise privacy rights

A coalition of organisations have come together to form the Global Privacy Control initiative which aims to make it easier for consumers to exercise their data subject rights. A number of website browsers will also allow users to download extensions to help communicate their data preferences with participating publishers. Brave, DuckDuckGo, Mozilla, The New York Times and The Washington Post are among the companies that have pledged their support to the initiative.
