Presentations on two PET use cases: fraud prevention and end-of-life data
29/07/2025 | Future of Privacy Forum
In April, the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) and the Mozilla Foundation hosted an all-day workshop with technology, legal, and policy experts to explore Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs). During the workshop, multiple companies presented technologies they developed and implemented to preserve individuals' privacy. In addition, the participants discussed steps for broadening the adoption of these technologies and their intersection with data protection laws.
The event featured multiple presentations. In this post, FPF provides details on two of those presentations:
- Preventing Financial Fraud Across Different Jurisdictions with Fully Homomorphic Encryption by Mastercard's Chief Privacy Officer, Caroline Louveaux.
- PETs Use Case: Differential Privacy for End-of-Life Data by Oblivious CEO and Co-Founder, Robert Pisarczyk.
