MEPs visit US to discuss Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework

Seven MEPs and members of the Civil Liberties Committee (LIBE) are travelling to Washington, D.C., for a four-day visit between 23 and 26 May to discuss several issues, including data protection, immigration and security. The group led by Chairman Juan Fernando Lopez Aguilar will discuss plans for the new EU-U.S. Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework.

The announcement comes on the same day that noyb chairman Max Schrems published an open letter over international data transfer concerns.
