European Parliament supports extending temporary CSAM derogation

The European Parliament has voted 469 in favour, 112 against and 37 abstentions to endorse a temporary extension of the e-Privacy derogation that allows the voluntary detection of online child sexual abuse material (CSAM) by internet platforms.
