27/06/2025 | European Commission
The European Commission is preparing to host a workshop next week designed to encourage companies to sign the General-Purpose AI (GPAI) Code of Practice under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) before it enters into force on 2 August. The event, being organised by the AI Office, will discuss the final code of practice and highlight the advantages for businesses that commit to its principles. The initiative underscores the Commission’s push for broad industry engagement with the voluntary code ahead of its official implementation.
