Commissioner McGrath to host GDPR Implementation Dialogue

European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection, Michael McGrath, is to host an Implementation Dialogue in Brussels on 16 July to discuss the application of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as to explore how to improve and maintain the current high level of data protection in the EU.
Attendees will focus on four key areas: simplifying efforts to reduce administrative burdens, increasing legal certainty and harmonising enforcement, facilitating GDPR compliance, and clarifying its relationship with other digital legislation.
