In an interview with Euronews, Caroline Stage Olsen, the Minister for Digital Affairs in Denmark, has called for the European Commission's proposal to simplify digital rules to include the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) and Digital Services Act (DSA). Stage Olsen stressed the importance of identifying and simplifying aspects of the AI Act that might impose unnecessary burdens, stating it would be "stupid not to" ease implementation costs for companies.
