MEPs issue new Artificial Intelligence Act compromise text

European Parliament's co-rapporteurs Brando Benifei and Dragoș Tudorache have offered a new set of compromise amendments for the proposed EU Artificial Intelligence Act. The latest text concerns a range of disputed topics, including provisions for prohibited practices, high-risk AI obligations, regulatory sandboxes and the role of a dedicated AI enforcement office.
