Irish DPC accused of failing to enforce GDPR against Big Tech

Analysis by the Irish Council for Civil Liberties has identified that the Data Protection Commission in Ireland is yet to resolve 98% of cross-border 164 data protection complaints against technology companies such as Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft and Twitter who all have their European headquarters in Dublin. The Irish DPC, lead by Helen Dixon, has repeatedly been criticised by privacy campaigners and other DPAs, for failing to take action.
