EDRi writes to EDPB over concerns about Meta's Consent or Pay model

The European Digital Rights (EDRi) association of civil and human rights organisations has written an open letter to the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) outlining their concerns over Meta's tiered (Consent or Pay) subscription model. The letter urges the EDPB to "issue an opinion that clearly confirms the incompatibility of these models with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the essence of fundamental rights, as enshrined in Article 52 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights."
