UPDATE: EDPB adopts guidelines on codes of conduct for data transfers

The European Data Protection Board has adopted guidelines on codes of conduct to be used as a tool for facilitating data transfers during its latest plenary session. The guidelines provide clarification for the application of Articles 40(3) and 46(2)(e) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Additionally, the EDPB adopted a final version of its guidelines on virtual voice assistants and on the concept of controllers and processors. The board also discontinued its TikTok task force.
