The European Data Protection Board has released an FAQ with guidance related to the Court of Justice of the European Union's ruling on the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and standard contractual clauses. The document covers a range of topics, including how a grace period for the ruling to take effect is non-existent, the ability to use remaining data transfer mechanisms and general suggestions for executing transfers. The FAQ also provides a series of specific data transfer scenarios to consider.
