EDPS and Spanish DPA publish report on Neurodata risks

On Thursday, 27 June 2024, the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) and the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD, published a joint report analysing the data protection challenges related to the processing of neurodata. The detailed report defines what neurodata consists of along with the growing interest in neurotechnology, current use cases and the risks to individuals’ rights and freedoms.
