EDPB updates right of access, identifying lead SA & breach notification guidelines

The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has adopted an updated version of its Guidelines on data subject rights - Right of access. The latest guidelines aim to provide more specific guidance on how the right of access should be implemented in different situations. These include clarifications on the scope, what information must be provided to data subjects, request formatting, methods for providing access and dealing with unfounded or excessive requests. 

The EDPB also adopted updated Guidelines for identifying a controller or processor’s lead supervisory authority and the Guidelines on data breach notification.
