EDPB publishes opinions on draft UK adequacy decision

The European Data Protection Board has published its two opinions on the European Commission's draft UK adequacy decision. The opinions assess the commission's draft decision under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Law Enforcement Directive. As announced in the press release from the 48th plenary session earlier this week, the EDPB highlights areas of alignment between the EU and UK frameworks in the opinions, as well as areas that need to be further monitored by the commission.
