EDPB publishes final data transfer guidelines under Article 48 GDPR

During its June plenary session, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) adopted the final version of its guidelines on Article 48 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) concerning data transfers to third-country authorities.
The EDPB also made available two reports addressing critical shortage of skills in artificial intelligence and data protection. The first report is intended for practitioners in the data protection field with legal responsibilities, while the second report is aimed at technical professionals.
