EDPB publishes 2026-2027 work programme

During its latest plenary session, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has adopted its work programme for 2026-2027.
The programme is intended to address critical stakeholder needs and align with the EDPB's overarching strategic priorities.
The 2026-2027 work programme focuses on four key areas: increasing regulatory harmonisation to promote compliance, fostering a shared enforcement culture through effective cooperation, upholding data protection safeguards within the evolving digital and cross-regulatory environment, and taking an active role in the global dialogue on data protection standards.
