EDPB adopts procedure to streamline GDPR Certification process

The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has adopted a procedure to simplify the adoption of EDPB Opinions regarding national criteria for certification under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The adopted procedure outlines the steps Data Protection Authorities (DPAs) need to take, from approving the initial criteria through to submitting their draft to the EDPB.
