EDPB adopts breach notification guidance, evaluation of the LED

During its December plenary session, the European Data Protection Board adopted the final draft of new guidance on examples of data breach notifications. The guidelines aim to offer "more practice-orientated guidance and recommendations" for handling data breaches and risk assessment. The EDPB also finalised its contributions to the European Commission's review of the Data Protection Law Enforcement Directive.
