Bavarian DPA orders German company to stop using Mailchimp

A decision by the Bavarian DPA (BayLDA) has concluded that a German company should cease using the email communications provider Mailchimp. The decision was reached due to the legality of the data transfer mechanism to the US following the Schrems II ruling by the CJEU.
