The UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has awarded the French IT services and consulting company Capgemini a four-year contract valued at £4.87 million to support its data strategy. The contract will see Capgemini provide technical consultancy, strategic planning, and transformation delivery support to deliver the ICO's data transformation goals. This move follows the ICO's publication of its enterprise data strategy in January 2024, which aims to establish the regulator as a leader in responsible data innovation.
The Capgemini contract will help the ICO achieve its key objectives, including enhancing the ICO's data maturity and generating tangible value from its data and analytics, both internally and for its customers.
A 2-year CRM contract worth £1.2 million was also recently signed with Kainos to help manage case management and digital workflows.
