31st July:

  • Google posts blog explaining how it has updated its Exposure Notifications System to improve transparency and privacy.

5th August:

  • Open Rights Group publishes an article asking where the ICO has been over the fight for privacy in the Governments Test and Trace programme? 

6th August:

  • Tech Crunch reports the UK is planning to ditch coronavirus contacts tracing in favor of 'risk rating' app.
  • The Guardian reveals councils are to sign data agreements in order to get real-time COVID-19 data.
