EU Council announces DSA final approval

Under the Czech Presidency, the Council of the European Union announced final approval for the Digital Services Act (DSA), the last step to full adoption. Jozef Síkela, the Czech Minister for Industry and Trade, said the law is the "gold standard" for regulators worldwide in that it sets "new standards for a safer and more accountable online environment." The DSA will apply 15 months after it is signed by EU institutions and published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
