Cisco publishes 2022 Data Privacy Benchmark Study

Privacy is becoming increasingly more important and recognised by businesses and their customers. That was the clear takeaway from Cisco's 2022 Data Privacy Benchmark Study, which polled more than 4,900 anonymous responses from security and privacy professionals in 27 countries. Cisco Systems Director Robert Waitman (CIPP/US, CIPT) presented highlights in an IAPP article about the study, including privacy's place in business imperatives, the effects of growing privacy regulation, and thoughts on privacy's intersection with artificial intelligence and information security.
