The Centre for Information Policy Leadership (CIPL) submitted a response to the EU Commission's request for comments for its draft implementing decision on standard contractual clauses. The CIPL asked for the one-year implementation period for the SCCs to be extended and the GDPR language and concepts used in the SCCs to be fully aligned and consistent with the European privacy law.
