ICO and CCPA sign Declaration of Cooperation

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) have signed a declaration of cooperation, establishing a framework for the two regulators to work together on several key areas. The areas of cooperation include facilitating joint research and educational initiatives concerning emerging technologies and data protection challenges, exchanging best practices, knowledge, and investigative techniques, organising meetings between staff members, sharing relevant experiences, and developing appropriate mechanisms for mutual collaboration in their respective enforcement and regulatory roles.
