BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT has published a briefing document following the release of the AI rulebook proposal from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) last week, outlining the government's pro-innovation approach to regulating AI. The briefing document discusses potential "innovation-friendly and flexible approaches to regulating AI" and also compares the UK's regulatory approach with the EU AI Act, highlighting both similarities and significant differences.
