Open letter asks tech firms to stop targeting ads at children

An open letter signed by a UK member of parliament Caroline Lucas, Amnesty International, Privacy International, Friends of the Earth and other academics has asked technology companies such as Facebook and Google to stop advertising to users younger than 18. This comes after a lawsuit was filed against Google accusing it of breaking UK. and EU data protection laws.
