Met police commit to Gang Violence Matrix overhaul

The Metropolitan Police has agreed to rebuild the gang violence matrix following a legal challenge brought by the human rights campaign group Liberty. The case was due to appear in the Royal Courts of Justice this week but has instead resulted in the Met committing to a complete rebuild and acknowledging that the database requires wholesale changes.
