A coalition of digital rights groups have warned that the United Kingdom’s proposed Online Safety Bill will undermine online privacy and the right to freedom of expression. In an open letter to the UN Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression, the digital rights groups urged the Special Rapporteur to provide recommendations to improve the protection of human rights.
