NHS England staff concerned about COVID-19 datastore access controls

It's being reported in The Register that a number of researchers at NHS England have been denied access to datasets on the Palantir platform, which supports the COVID-19 data store. No reason has been given, despite requests for greater transparency on the system. It is possible restrictions are coming from NHS England management, but some speculate they originate from Palantir itself.
