DPC receives €2 million additional funding

Irelands Data Protection Commission (DPC) is to receive an extra €2 million in its 2021 budget. This is an increase of 13 per cent over this year and 10 times the budget for 2014. However, an article by Irish Legal News confirms the increase represents only a third the requested amount and means the watchdog continues to be severely underfunded.
