Undercover Policing Inquiry begins

An investigation into undercover policing began on Monday into after 5-years of delays. The inquiry was announced by Theresa May in 2015 after the Ellison report from 2014 that revealed how Stephen Lawerence’s family had been spied on. The Undercover Policing Inquiry will review the actions of police units reported to have spied on activists and campaign groups for years.
