The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) found Christopher O'Brien, a former health adviser at the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, guilty of 6 counts of unlawfully obtaining personal data, a breach of s170 of the Data Protection Act 2018. Mr O'Brien was ordered to pay £250 compensation to each data subject (totalling £3,000) under Section 133 of the Sentencing Act 2020 by Coventry Magistrates' Court.
