Comprehensive data protection laws exist all around the world, with more expected to be brought into effect. Although each law has its differences, there are often many common threads around rights, obligations and enforcement provisions. The IAPP has created a chart mapping several comprehensive privacy laws to assist members in understanding how data protection is being approached around the world. The chart will be updated as laws are amended and other laws come into force.
